Created the launch strategy for Atari’s biggest title of the year, Star Trek Online, to connect and drive online activation and engagement of fans of the Star Trek franchise, both new and old. Through creative social channel management on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, Tumblr and the blogosphere I was able to grow our Facebook fans by over 445% over the course of 4 months and generated over 8 Million total social media impressions.
Additionally, an online application was built – Tweet in Klingon – to enable Star Trek fans to publish their messages in an easy-to-use text generator and then post it directly to Twitter – in Klingon. Trekkie, Alyssa Milano ReTweeted (@alyssa_milano) about the application.
